As part of Chicago Artist Month 2015, Mujeres Mutantes Collective brought together a local Chicago women & street artists exhibition at Cultura in Pilsen on Saturday, October 10, 2015. 30 women artists will exhibit their works created on model size billboards by Boundless Brooklyn. Poetry readings by Revista Contratiempo’s Hecho en Chicago and beats by DJ duo The Ponderers and DJ Rebel Betty.
Back in 2007 I was lucky to road-trip out with friends to paint at my first B-Girl Be Summit at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis. I can’t believe this weekend is their 10 year reunion exhibition! I am so honored to be an exhibiting Artist. Show opens June 11 and runs thru August 22, 2015. So happy and proud of the work Intermedia Arts continues to do!
This Friday we celebrate the release of our 2nd issue of MUTANTES! Art Zine! Art, grooves and great people will gather. Come kick off summer with us at Pilsen Art House for the “All of Me” Body Positivity and Zine Release Party!

I will be exhibiting at this wonderful art show this Saturday for International Women’s Day! “Voces de Mujeres” has an amazing line-up of Chicago female musicians, spoken word and visual artists. There is more about the exhibition and the curator/artist Amara Betty Martin in these articles at Extra Newspaper and La Raza.
“Reverberate Her Lines” is taking place in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Queens Under Estimated and El Chante Casa de Cultura will highlight some very talented women graffiti artists, MCs, poets and B-Girl performances from all corners. The last two weeks I’ve been working on a neat project for this “Back Panels” show taking place tonight at Solid State Goods in Pilsen, Chicago.
Back in the late 70’s and thru the 80’s folks used to get artistic on their denim and leather jackets do-it-yourself style.
I can’t wait to see what all the artists have come up with!
